1.Workshop and Its Tour
・Title: The 6th Kyushu-Ateneo de Manila University International Joint Workshop
・Date: Mon 8th – Fri 12th February 2016
・Place: Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines
※The workshop will be jointly organized by the Graduate School of Integrated Sciences for Global
Society( ISGS) and Comparative Studies of Politics and Administration in Asia (CSPA),the Graduate
School of Law, Kyushu University.

3.Expected Travel Related Expenses and Travel Grant
ⅰ) Granted by ISGS & Kyushu University Interdisciplinary Programs in Education and Projects in
Research Development (P&P)
・Air fare (Fukuoka⇔Manila)
・Accommodation ( 4nights)
・Daily allowance (5days)
ⅱ) Participant’s own cost:
・Premium for overseas travel insurance
・Visa application fee (only those who required)
4.The number of participants called for
About 5 , including both oral presenters and discussants
・Oral presenters: to give a presentation in English for 20min. or so at the workshop
: to be assigned to submit a presentation paper by mid-January(around 10 pages)
・Discussants: to comment on a paper written by an oral presenter from Ateneo de Manila Univ.
(The paper will be designated and given to each, ahead of the workshop.)
5.Qualifications
・Being enrolled in ISGS or the Graduate School of Social and Cultural Studies
・Proficiency in English discussion
※Please note that presentation topic may include a broad range of issues at the global, regional,
national and local levels from disciplines such as Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy,
History, Sociology, Anthropology, Area Studies, Migration Studies, Development Studies, Gender
Studies and other related fields in the Social Sciences.
6.Application procedure
Submit your application by email no later than December 4 (Fri).

Your application must contain:
Preferred role of participation (Oral presenter or Discussant), your name, course, student number,
supervisor’s name, a proof of English proficiency
(Attach your TOEFL score sheet or relevant document, if any)
※English interviews will be conducted for screening.
