I am a historian and gender studies scholar. My work primarily focuses on wartime sexual violence, its postwar adjudication, collective memory, and reconciliation in the context of East Asia. Since joining Kyushu University, I have embarked on new research projects related to sanitary products.
I believe that teaching is never a one-way street; rather, it is through exchange and dialogue that we learn and grow, as students, as teachers, and as human beings. I look forward to learning from and growing with you.
