To those who wish to learn under my supervision

Recently I receive several applications for “special students” (研究生 in Japanese, 预科生 in Chinese) every day. As I clearly state that on my researcher site of Kyushu University, I do not accept them based on the consideration of equality among students. If you wish to study under me as a graduate student, please take official examination for the ISGS, Kyushu University directly. The same applies to those who wish to get enrolled in the international course. I cannot provide any advice for your exam preparation.

After entering into our graduate school, I can supervise anyone who study Chinese foreign policies and domestic politics. But honestly, I am extremely busy for my own research. I want to keep standing on the front line of China studies while I am doing this job. If you expect kind advice from a nice Japanese teacher, I strongly encourage you to search for other options.
