"Advanced Global Human Resources Development Project" is a project implemented by Kyushu University Graduate School of integrated science for global society to build global education network according to international standards, and to promote training of advanced global human resources.
(Project Period: 2014-2019 (5 years).)
Background
Kyushu University, Graduate School of Social and Cultural studies, in the past 20 years, promoted the humanities and sciences converged education and researches. The international student’s ratio exceeding 50% and they filled vacancy of a doctor course up to 90%.
Graduate school of integrated science for global society ,launched in April 2014, is Kyushu University’s newest graduate school, replaced the above graduate school and started leading program for the purpose of fostering innovation human resources of Asia, and to use this “integrative interdisciplinary approach” to analyze our earth as a planet and as the home for living organisms. and the society of humans who live upon it, by clarifying the past, facing the urgent questions of contemporary society, and dedicating ourselves to the construction of a better future, it is also necessary to enhance the integrity of the interdisciplinary education.
The "innovative global human resource project" was established for realization subjects, such as an internationalization of education, and an advancement of interdisciplinary education.
Purpose
Kyushu University, Graduate School of integrated science for global society sets the following two points as the main purposes of "advanced global human resources development project."
For achieving these two purposes, projects continues working on various ways such as
| ○ inviting high-level overseas researchers ○ holding International Seminars and Symposium ○ designing a new education programs ○ organizing an international evaluation team |
Through carrying out such efforts. Creating and training of international human resources, building a global network education, and promotion of international interdisciplinary researches, a variety of effects are expected.
