I was born in Hsinchu, Taiwan. I have a BA (National Tsing Hua University, 2004) in Chinese literature and an MA (Osaka University, 2008) and PhD (Osaka University, 2013) in Japanese literature, with postdoctoral research in comparative literature and cultural perspectives.
My field of study is modern East Asian comparative literature and culture. My mainly research topic is focused on modern Japanese and Chinese intellectuals’ views of “Asia” and Asian unity.
Message to students
I have written or assisted with over 10 research papers in Japanese and English. I also have overseas research experiences as well. Hope my experience may be put to practical use in supporting international students.
